2012. s movie for the times
2012
This movie has great special effects, good recognisable actors and a side suspense plot, taking on realistic proportions what probably would happen when panic begins.
taking his information from a nutter, the main character in disbelief starts believing when the official report of no panic is scripted and so because of his discernment, was able to prepare himself in time to evade immediate destruction from the doomsday event.
allot of suspense is made from the evasion of the onterage from this impending doom. it makes you feel comfortable your snuggly at home
The movie plays from the official government point of view to the plight of a family who now have possession of the spaceship map, a secret place left by the government as contingency for a dooms like event
Adrian is the voice in the government repping the people.
The movie provides this mystery of a destination, of a select people who may or may not manage to evade death from the doomsday scenario.
change of locations and situations add to the appeal of this movie making it enjoyable wanting to watch more.
quote"the lost all the landing gear in las vegas" little bit of humour.
sometimes the underlining belief of the writer is known, when stating nature chooses who survives, which was quite cynical and contrary to christian tenets of salvation. evolutionism states this almost natural selection, actually narrated by the noble adrian fellow.
the car escape from the plane was cool. twists and turns into this unfolding journey keep you interlocked.
an ensuing argument interplays amidst the government between saving humanity with limited resources and saving people locked outside the gate
the movie devotes itself to on the edge of your seat thrill and when one obstacle seems to be surpassed another one forms.
the movie is slightly antagonistic to christian parallels like noah's ark, as a humantistic salvationship of scientific progress, when the frightful contrast is that science, not nature is destroying the world. especially in context of the courageous russian pilot who was a christian who had an icon with him in the cockpit, when faced with impending death does the sign of the cross, yet still plunges to his death. this is opposed to the ark salvation which seems, philosophically and theologically speaking is contrary to christian perspectives with a possible intention of the writer to impose this anti christian and humanistic message, continuing the long tragic human narrative that man can save himself without god, such as the one relayed by the optimism of the titanic era and the reigning of the age of scientific progress and the belief man can make a better world with science and the credo, the unsinkable ship.

django the westerner that is set apart
A nature of quiry and an intriguing opening bridges out to possible outcomes to this movie.
A dentist seeking a sale and a witness and with a proper conduct is also a contrast a good shot
the introduction to case character and scenario unraveled the curiosity with the audience. a must for a good film.
scene 2 begins with an introduction and a definition. a content builder brings depth within a film. The bounty Hunter and the agreement commences and the scene against the sheriff is quite original as this bounty hunter prowess and capacity is pronounced and a novelty to a film. a man with a gun and an education and a strategy outwitting the guntotting south. The bounty Hunter no doubt the more interesting aspects of early american history. unfortunately is glamorized as legit. however best to see it in terms of the evil of the times. their is no profound good versus evil battle in this film.
A story and twist when confronted with the sheriff, i won't give it away. But a masterly script about a unsuspecting wanted man and a reward for 200$.
playing a role and an act against big daddy for information was almost comical and shows how money could change how a man is treated.
the movie is revolutionary and an artwork piecing together a known historical narrative and status quo with a fictitious interplay of heroic feats and retribution.
a great comedy contrast is made when the ku klux argue about the bags wearing over the head blinding them when they ride
i thought the bag was a good idea, but without pointing the fingers, they could have it better."next time we go full regalia". "as long as the horse sees that is a raid". this scene witnesses a master strategy by the bounty hunter team.
Now at the camp fire after foretelling a german legend, an agreement is made where the bounty hunter requests further help as a bounty hunter and then when the "snow melts" django can find his love at an estate. so a journey is introduced and and we look forward to it.
at this point captivation of the audience is kept as the montage bridge song begins that introduces the audience to the next scene. a bit of a refreshener. the flashback of django's love is an enduring motivation for the film.
the movie is conscious to employ all sorts of ploys to gain attention and we also have a scene django making target proactive with more bounty hunting scenes. making money for corpses is a profound morale wrong that seems to be legitimised in the film, further expresses the wrong about this time in history.
despite these small bounty pocket hits, the big ones the audience prepares where some justice goal is envisioned, in this case the old retribution.
scene candy land.
a comic scene is the nigger who hates niggers" unfortunately there were the types that hated their own hating their own, one of the more unforeseen abuses of american slavery brainwashing and the psychology of roles cemented firmly across colour racial lines.
The movie slows down at candyland, showing the movie accelerated to get to this point, where it is fine to preserve a frame or a visit at this plantation. the variation works very well. And it deserves to lay steady for a while[in a southern accent this sounds]
The turn commences when Intrigue sets on the dinner table while candi [leo decaprio] gets advice from his discerning nigger servant that these bounty hunters were not here for a purchase of slaves but are here to take the girl hildi. candi is convinced.
The business deal has a catch!
The contention at the last scene seems that is aint too creativily made,
4/5.
gringo mel gibson quality action film
I love a plot that unfolds.
The problem with identity thief was that they exposed all their cards with a predictable ending.
The movie begins quick and sets you in gringo reaching jail because of a robbery.
However the jail is not like we expected. it is a different life, a different market.
money stolen and confiscated by corrupt cops then spills into a deserved suspense and mystery that gringo works out from the mexican open population jail that looks like a market
The movie is like a chest game, not as simple as a who done and how to get out.
mel gibson's character epitomizes guts, wit and courage and bravery and this character's fine flawless composition develops and diverges the already juicy plot into two pathways, while tactically evading a dead end as the character gringo as he is called plays out an assignment that unravels the hierarchy of corruption from the top down. the first one the kid he cares for and his impending misfortune with the gangster that killed his father and the other the chest game of befriending the jail hierarchy about higher level corruption they were left out on and does this with the information he acquired and a gun battle which saves the gangster from an incompetent cousin of the gangster.
gringo makes a great team with this unsuspecting kid after gringo works out the variable reaction of this unusual and interesting jail environment
This perspective putting scope and context to a movie which envelopes into wider implications which elevate the hero as the personification of justice, despite being a thief we apparently sympathise with.
He is not just a thief imprisoned, he is empowered to funnel his way into the power structure in this riveting quality action film.
The movie symbolises the common man's plight and his fight against not just the face to face low rank adversaries but their faceless superiors.
it is hard not to be moved and motivated.
the movie does not care to offend the porcelain mirage of a corrupt less society and this is why we love gibson's guttsy truthful approach to real action films.
The film brings you in with colour, cinematography and is a film so easy to watch.

identity thief. a warm film with huge travel scene
Identity Theft
The movie moves with a problem with a loop hole and it leads the movie to the direction where the lead actor has to confront the identity thief on his own accord.
So the resevoir of comedy is threaded with this arrangement of bateman enticing the con woman back to confront his boss, so he is convinced that all that crime done was made not by him but by the conwoman.
I like this bateman character and would love to see him in more films.
the movie may be long winded and set in this travel situation where she messes up and bateman keeps reconciling the situation.
the long winded aspect reminds me of robert downey movie due date. the long winded offset travel part of a film. it believes it can keep you engaged with the enemies and obstacles along the way.
These films that concentrate on the journey are long winded and little boring.
The plot feels like it had been temporarily suspended during the film, only to realize that most of the film focuses on this travel which is dubious and not too believable.
it is a little fun how the con woman wins sympathy with strangers in pretending bateman's her ill treating husband.
The redeeming aspect of the film is how this travel skit comedy thread leads us to a bank bust siphoning money from the firm he originally was thieved by, before a bunch of staffers decided to form their own company which bateman was invited on board with a better salary rate.
this is from wiki, describing an undisciplined plot line.
The film received mostly negative reviews from critics. It holds a 21% rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 140 reviews. The consensus reads: "Identity Thief's few laughs are attributable to Melissa McCarthy and Jason Bateman, who labor mightily to create a framework for the movie's undisciplined plotline
this is reference to the long winded travel thread that is diverted from the main characters of the original scenes and reverts to actions of two people in travel while the other characters interactions remain suspended based on the tenuous idea that brining this woman back would save his job and his family.
this thread ties to the part where the con woman meets the family, further weakening any motivation for this long suspension from the plot mainly focusing on the antics of bateman the con woman.
another redeeming feature is the message and little twist in the end, showing how love and understanding can be powerful forces than coercion.
