identity thief. a warm film with huge travel scene

Identity Theft The movie moves with a problem with a loop hole and it leads the movie to the direction where the lead actor has to confront the identity thief on his own accord. So the resevoir of comedy is threaded with this arrangement of bateman enticing the con woman back to confront his boss, so he is convinced that all that crime done was made not by him but by the conwoman. I like this bateman character and would love to see him in more films. the movie may be long winded and set in this travel situation where she messes up and bateman keeps reconciling the situation. the long winded aspect reminds me of robert downey movie due date. the long winded offset travel part of a film. it believes it can keep you engaged with the enemies and obstacles along the way. These films that concentrate on the journey are long winded and little boring. The plot feels like it had been temporarily suspended during the film, only to realize that most of the film focuses on this travel which is dubious and not too believable. it is a little fun how the con woman wins sympathy with strangers in pretending bateman's her ill treating husband. The redeeming aspect of the film is how this travel skit comedy thread leads us to a bank bust siphoning money from the firm he originally was thieved by, before a bunch of staffers decided to form their own company which bateman was invited on board with a better salary rate. this is from wiki, describing an undisciplined plot line. The film received mostly negative reviews from critics. It holds a 21% rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 140 reviews. The consensus reads: "Identity Thief's few laughs are attributable to Melissa McCarthy and Jason Bateman, who labor mightily to create a framework for the movie's undisciplined plotline this is reference to the long winded travel thread that is diverted from the main characters of the original scenes and reverts to actions of two people in travel while the other characters interactions remain suspended based on the tenuous idea that brining this woman back would save his job and his family. this thread ties to the part where the con woman meets the family, further weakening any motivation for this long suspension from the plot mainly focusing on the antics of bateman the con woman. another redeeming feature is the message and little twist in the end, showing how love and understanding can be powerful forces than coercion. 2.7/5.
